How many photos can I include in the Wedding Magazine?
Lots! The number of photos that will comfortably fill a Wedding Magazine comes down to a few things. Which size you choose — we offer a 100 page, 200 page and 300 page edition. Also how many pages are dedicated to text, how many photos are used as full-page images or across the double-page spread. Below is a general guide:

Can we include words in the magazine?
Absolutely Yes! The magazines are custom designed for each couple and can include photos and words. For example, the proposal story, vows, ceremony readings, sentimental lyrics, poems, quotes, guest list, your wedding party and supplier credits.
We are having trouble selecting our favourite wedding photos?
No problem! Our photo curation service is part of the Wedding Magazine purchase. Our expert designer will thoughtfully select the best images for the first design layout. We prefer to receive the full photo gallery as that gives us more creative freedom while designing your magazine. During the review process you have the opportunity to make changes to ensure all your favourite photos are included in the design.
What quality/size do my wedding photos need to be?
Typically print-quality photos are 300dpi and at least 2MB or larger in size — the bigger the better. Your wedding photographer will provide you with a set of high-resolution .jpg images suitable for printing. We don’t accept photos taken on mobile phones as they typically aren’t sufficient size or quality to print.
How do we supply our photos?
Most professional wedding photographers will provide you with an online photo gallery containing the high-resolution photos. Simple send us the link and we can download the photos directly.
What paper quality is used in the Wedding Magazines?
The paper in the Wedding Magazine is acid-free, archival FSC (responsibly sourced and recycled) uncoated paper with a silk/matte finish.
What paper is used for the Wedding Magazine Cover?
The magazine cover is a heavy-weight paper stock laminated with a soft-touch velvet protective finish.
Do you offer a photo editing service?
No, we don’t offer a photo editing service. The majority of the couples that come to us have used a professional wedding photographer that has already supplied edited photos. Australian wedding photographers retain copyright to their images, this means we are not allowed to manipulate their images in any way, and this includes editing the photos. We print images as supplied.
Can I design my own Wedding Magazine?
We are a full service design studio, meaning we create the magazines from start to finish. That includes curating the photos, design the layouts and deliver the printed magazine. However, that said, we’d love to help you out with the printing. We will consider each case on an individual basis, simply shoot us an email to discuss.
Do we get to review the wedding magazine design before going to print?
Absolutely Yes. You have ample opportunity to review and request changes. Only when you are 100% happy and approve your Wedding Magazine design will we send it to production for printing.
Will my photos look different when printed on paper to how I see them on a computer or mobile screen?
Yes. Images when viewed on a computer monitor or mobile phone screen will appear different because the monitor/screen is luminous, reflective and back-lit in comparison to printed photos on the paper we prefer which have a flat silk/matte finish.
What is your printing process for the Wedding Magazines?
We integrate monitor calibration, proofing procedures and colour profiles into our printing workflow to ensure we get accurate prints from the digital files supplied. The magazines are printed so all colours are either true or well within tolerance. It is also important to keep in mind that we cannot change the appearance of photos on just some pages, as the magazine is printed in its entirety from the digital artwork which is the full magazine design. We integrate monitor calibration, proofing procedures and colour profiles into our printing workflow to ensure we get accurate prints from the digital files supplied. For the magazine covers, because they are laminated with a protective finish, the cover might be a little deeper than the image.
Can we order more than 1 copy of our Wedding Magazine?
Yes and bundle discounts are available. We highly encourage ordering at least an extra copy for safekeeping and archival purposes. Sharing copies of your magazine with your family make for a great thank you gift. Discounted pricing for one or more magazines can be found in our online shop.
Can I get copies of our Wedding Magazine re-printed at a later date?
Yes. We archive your Wedding Magazine design so you can order additional copies at a later date. We do have discounted pricing for reprints so you don’t have to pay for the design again. Simply order your wedding magazine reprint.
Can I get a digital version of my wedding magazine?
Yes. A digital wedding magazine can be added to your printed magazine order or you can also order the digital wedding magazine as a standalone product.
How much do the personalised Wedding Magazines cost?
Pricing for the Wedding Magazines can be easily found in our online shop. On placing your Wedding Magazine order, an email letting you know how to submit your images along with a questionnaire will be sent to you. This will allow you to provide us with all your unique wedding details to help personalise your Wedding Magazine.
How long will it take to receive my Wedding Magazine?
Please allow 10-15 days for the first draft. The timeline for receiving your printed Wedding Magazines is dependent on how many rounds of changes there are. Once you are 100% happy and approve your wedding magazine design it will go into production to be printed. Please allow 2-3 weeks for manufacture and delivery. We need our Wedding Magazine in a hurry. Do you offer a priority service?
Manufacture of the Wedding Magazine needs to allow a certain timeframe for the ink to dry, before trimming, assembly & binding. Also the magazine cover needs time for the ink and lamination to dry before they can be trimmed, scored and bound to the internal pages. These are important steps in the manufacture process and can’t be sped up in order for us to retain the high-quality magazines we offer. Our timeframe and delivery details are specified on our Timeframe & Deliveries.
However, we do offer a priority service to jump to the head of the cue to design your Wedding Magazine. This priority service does incur an additional charge as set out in our Refund & Returns Policy. The priority service does not impact the manufacture process as aforementioned. The priority service just enables jumping to the head of the queue in the design stage and speeds up the delivery.
What is the shelf life of the Wedding Magazine?
The guarantee for our Wedding Magazines only extends to them being delivered in good condition. Simply because after that we have no control on how they are handled. Please keep in mind they perform like any magazine you would buy in a newsagent. Therefore, dog ears from turning pages is a characteristic of the Wedding Magazine and something we feel reflects the magazine has been enjoyed and loved. The Wedding Magazines are packaged in a box for shipping and can be continued to be stored in the box. We suggest ordering a spare so that way one can be left on your coffee table while the spare is stored in the box for safekeeping. We retain the artwork for your wedding magazine design in our archives for an unlimited timeframe, therefore reprints of your wedding magazine can be ordered at any time.
What if my printed Wedding Magazine arrives damaged?
Our Wedding Magazines are printed and manufactured with the utmost care and aim to deliver them in perfect condition. In the rare instant your magazine(s) arrive damaged, contact us upon receiving your order explaining the issue along with photos to show the damage, and we will endeavour to make it right.
What if I receive my Wedding Magazine and there is a printing error?
If your Wedding Magazine(s) aren’t as you would expect due to our mistake, such as defective workmanship, please email us immediately explaining the issue along with photo evidence and we will investigate. If we deem there has been an error and we are at fault, we will replace the product as soon as possible at no further cost to you.
However, if you discover a spelling error or any other error in the printed magazine(s) after approving the design, unfortunately it is too late to change it. This is why we have a rigid online review process in place to give you ample opportunity to review the design, proof read and make any changes. We don’t go to print until the design is approved by you.
If you have received your magazine(s) and missed picking up an error, then we are happy to help rectify the issue and reprint the magazine(s) for a discounted replacement cost at 25% off the retail price.
What is your cancellation/refund policy?
The design process begins as soon as your non-refundable deposit is paid. This includes curating the image gallery and designing layouts, time behind the scenes committed to creating your Wedding Magazine. And for that reason we cannot cancel your order unless received within 24 hours of placement of order. Because each wedding magazine is custom made to order we do not offer refunds.
