“OUR VISION SINCE DAY ONE, HAS ALWAYS been to create WEDDING ALBUMS & PHOTO books that would COMFORTABLY SIT NEXT TO ANY DESIGNER COFFEE TABLE BOOK. ALMOST 20 YEARS ON, OUR APPROACH IS STILL TURNING PAGES. WE ENJOY TELLING STORIES AND CREATING A KEEPSAKE THAT COUPLES & THEIR FAMILY CAN ENJOY.”
Our process makes the difference. The Coffee Table Book makes creating your wedding album stress-free with the convenience of having us take care of everything. The responsibility handed to us is evident in every page as the images transport the reader to another place and time.
From curating your photo gallery, designing aesthetically pleasing page layouts that tell your beautiful love story, luxurious covers, to a printed photo album using the finest materials and traditional bookbinding techniques, including delivery to your door.
All you need to focus on is rediscovering and rekindling the joy of one of your best days ever when turning the pages of your one-of-a-kind album after it arrives and for many years to come.
The Coffee Table Book was established in 2006 when digital photography took over the world and professional wedding photographers began delivering wedding photos as digital files. The Coffee Table Book was the first Australian business to offer professional quality wedding photo albums direct to Australian couples.
With all these CDs containing digital wedding photos being handed out, The Coffee Table Book was born out of a need for married couples to have access to quality wedding albums without having to go through their photographer.
Wedding photography has evolved over the years since digital cameras made their way into the professional photography arena. We saw digital files being delivered on CD/DVD, then USB and now digital delivery through Cloud storage services or online photo galleries.
It’s a tragedy when precious memories from milestone events, like your special day, along with your hard-earned money spent on hiring the best wedding photographer, for your wedding photos to end up sitting in Cloud storage or on a media device thrown in a drawer gathering dust.
While the delivery of your wedding photos has changed, the joy of printing your photos in a beautiful physical wedding photo album has not!
Wedding photo albums have also evolved over the years! No more slip-in or stick-in albums. Our digitally printed Wedding Albums are coffee-table worthy! We think of them more like a limited edition art book but with your photos!
Our professional photo albums use the lay-flat binding technique, and with a matte finish the fine art paper makes viewing photos a true delight. The lay-flat style also allows for uninterrupted panoramic images across the double page spread for a real WOW moment.
We turn your wedding photos into beautiful handmade heirloom albums to last a lifetime. Forget the traditional photo albums your parents and grandparents had that get hidden away in the cupboard because they were too big and bulky. We stand by our albums easily being the best wedding photo albums Australia has to offer with the appearance of a modern art book to create a showstopper for your coffee table.

The Coffee Table Book has a long history OF CREATING WEDDING ALBUMS in Australia. since 2006, WE HAVE BEEN wedding album designERS and supplying couples with the legacy of their first family photo album
— a wedding album.
The Coffee Table Book were the first Australian business to print a personalised wedding magazine for couples back in 2013!
The photographer in our founder was looking for a different way for her couples to tell their wedding day story that was more meaningful than just a series of photos in a traditional wedding album.
We wanted to produce a softcover magazine-style album with photos and words. To include stories about the couple, capture their relationships with loved ones and their big day to visually show the day unfolding.
Then through written words, include their vows, lyrics from the songs they walked down the aisle and danced too, speeches by loved ones, guest list and credit the dream team that were a big part of making the day happen. The couple’s own magazine editorial.
A tangible keepsake that couple’s could leave on their coffee table like Vogue, Peppermint, Frankie, Together Journal and Hello May Magazine, except a magazine all about the couple's wedding day.
The concept of the Wedding Magazine was visualised in 2013 after attending a trade show in the USA. Finding a softcover photo book that could be printed in short-runs delighted our designer-hearts. We had been in love with photo books since they first popped on the scene around 2005 — and the entire reason around why The Coffee Table Book even began.
Lauren & Derek were our first couple to receive a Wedding Magazine back in 2013. They had no idea what to expect, we just asked them to trust us. Thankfully they did and now years later the Wedding Magazine is a popular alternative to the traditional wedding album.
We are proud to say that our Wedding Magazines are printed locally here in Australia.
The Coffee Table Book was the first to introduce the Wedding Magazine to couples back in 2013.
Since then THE MAGAZINE has grown in popularity as an alternative to the traditional wedding album. A magazine style photo book laid out in an editorial format to include photographs and written words to tell a more intimate & colourful version of your love story.
How is the Wedding Magazine different to our Wedding Albums?
The first main difference is the magazine has a softcover, a heavy-weight paper stock for the cover featuring beautiful photos on the cover. Whereas the albums having a much thicker sturdy cover, in either a leather or fabric material or a photo-wrap option.
The second main difference is the thickness of the internal pages. The magazines are printed on lightweight paper stock, whereas the albums are a heavy-weight paper stock that can’t bend or be folded.
Due to the different materials and manufacturing process used to produce the wedding magazine, they cost less to produce. Therefore the magazine is a budget-friendly alternative wedding album — and why we can offer them at a more affordable price than the wedding photo albums.
The albums are designed to display 100-250 of the best images from the wedding day. Whereas the magazine can hold hundreds of photos as well as include words – from sentimental song lyrics to stories about the couple, and their personal vows.
One thing the Wedding Magazine and Wedding Albums have in common, they both are designed to be left on your coffee table to enjoy your best ever day memories regularly.
