“We me in Malaysia on the 5th of November 2016. Li was on holiday visiting her parents and Carmen was working in Malaysia. We started chatting on an app and made arrangements to go rock climbing as a way of meeting each other. While scaling up and down the rocks in Via Farrata, Li proposed to Carmen, who promptly said yes as they both faired the ring was going to fall into the sea. A cool urban love story captured in the heart of Melbourne …

We love working with talented professional wedding photographers images to design a wedding album for the couple to be able to relive their special day over and over again. Melbourne Photographer Steph Wallis beautifully captured Aira & Tim’s colourful Brunswick wedding.

The wedding day was full of love, colour, family and friends despite COVID restrictions.

The party venue was Rumi Brunswick, a Middle Eastern restaurant in Lygon Street, East Brunswick, Melbourne.

What size wedding album did the couple choose?

The couple chose a 10×10 fine art album for themselves along with three (3) 10×10 parent albums.

What material is used on the album cover?

The wedding album cover is a genuine leather in colour navy.

What embossing was on the wedding album cover?

For personalising the album cover, we used a clear embossing with their names and wedding date for a subtle contemporary look. We used a modern calligraphy style font for the couple’s names accompanied with a contrasting thin elegant sans-serif font for the wedding date.

How many pages are in the wedding album?

A total of 25 spreads (50 pages) make up this gorgeous wedding album.

Exactly how many photos are included in the wedding album?

The 50 page album features just shy of 200 photos. We selected photos from the getting ready, ceremony, couples photoshoot, family photos, the gorgeous ceremony and reception venues, stunning colourful florals, candids of the guests to capture the fun atmosphere and the after party celebrations. Below we tell our couples love story in a beautifully designed Fine Art Album. The handcrafted wedding album we supplied our couple is a 12×9 horizontal (landscape) fine art album.  The page designs allow the images to breathe on the page, allowing each and every photo to take pride of place. Each spread tells the story of a different part of the day to ensure the story is beautifully told. The wedding day story in this album was told in 35 spreads ( 70 pages ) with around 250 images.

The album cover is a natural coloured Linen fabric. The couple’s names are embossed in a gold foil for a beautiful timeless look. The natural linen ties in with the country location and venue.

The album is presented in one of our boxes with natural earthy tones. This is one of our free packaging options that comes with all albums (a black option is also available).

This album looks absolutely stunning, we didn’t want to part with it. But I can happily say it is well and truly on its way to the couple for them to enjoy for years to come.

Fine Art Matte Paper.

Printed on fine art matte paper. The fine art pages have a matte finish and are slightly thicker than your normal photo books, but not as thick as the traditional albums of the past. The slightly thicker pages are more durable but don’t make the album too heavy to handle.

The matte finish has a beautiful feel, but also helps to stop glare from above lighting so its easier to view the photos. Both colour and black & white images print up beautifully.

The same fabric has been used on the slipcase with personalised embossing, using the font from the couple’s wedding stationery, in a gold foil for a luxurious look. It’s important to choose a cover finish that ties into the wedding colours to be aesthetically pleasing to the eye and helps add to the wedding story.

This classic Melbourne wedding album looks absolutely stunning, we didn’t want to part with it, but I can happily say it is well and truly on its way to the married couple.
