Then through creative, aesthetically pleasing layouts and a variety of full page images, double page spreads for the WOW moments and series of images to create storytelling pages as the wedding day unfolds.

Today we are taking a peek inside Sydney couple Tamsin & Jeremy’s Wedding Magazine capturing their big day at Athol Hall in Mosman on Sydney Harbour.

We custom designed their magazine turning their loved-up wedding day photographs into a beautiful 300 page coffee table wedding magazine.

We present our couples with a number of magazine cover designs to choose from. This is the cover design our couple chose. We love this design featuring one of the couples favourite images on the front cover and a secondary favourite image on the back along with their names and wedding date.

Our custom designed Wedding Magazines come in 3 sizes — 100 pages, 200 pages and 300 pages — giving couples the choice of incorporated literally hundreds of their photographs, capturing everything from the romantic moments, their loved ones, the stunning decor and party vibes scattered throughout the pages of the magazine.

The Sydney couple chose our biggest magazine the 300 page edition to showcase their Athol Hall wedding.

We love including double page spreads and full page images to let the couples favourite moments standout. We intertwine the full page images with pages full of storytelling images too.

The magazines are designed in an editorial format so that means we can also include pages with meaningful words — from your how we met and proposal stories to vows, speeches, lyrics, quotes, guest list and vendor credits — that will carry nostalgic memories for years to come.

We had fun designing the pages in Tamsin & Jeremy’s magazine, as there were quite long speeches and a few of them to scatter throughout the photos, so we had to allow for lots of words in this magazine, but we love the end result!

Today we are taking a peek inside Sydney couple Saoirsé & Josip’s Wedding Magazine capturing their wedding day at the Mater Dei Chapel with the reception following at Gledswood Winery & Vineyard in Camden.

We helped them turn their gorgeous wedding day photographs captured by Andy Mac Photography into a beautiful 200 page coffee table wedding magazine.

What to do with your wedding photos after the big day? Preserve your photos in a stunning magazine-style wedding album.

WE ARE OBSESSED WITH THIS WEDDING MAGAZINE WE DESIGNED FOR THE GORGEOUS SYDNEY COUPLE.

As we designed this custom wedding magazine for Van & Collin, we could feel the fun and love the couple have for each other bursting out of our screen!!!

It also helps having the couple provide words from their vows, speeches, lyrics and so on to fill in any gaps in their love story.

We just wanted to pop on here to share a few pages from Van & Collin’s wedding magazine design to inspire other couples to print their wedding photos.

Here at The Coffee Table Book we might be bias, but when a series of photos are laid out on a magazine page in a storytelling way, the photographs spark conversations and memories, and have way more impact and meaning than flicking through photos on a screen.

We were excited when we received Van & Collin’s photo gallery because it not only included their wedding photos, but their engagement photos and photos from their tea ceremony — we do love the colour, excitement and emotions that traditions and culture brings to a wedding!

We had already been working on introducing style kits for our wedding magazines, making Van & Collin’s magazine a great design project to trial one of our style kits on. The multiple day event leaned into the new features — a table of contents, section breaks and page numbering — included in our new Wedding Magazine Style Kits.

We can’t go any further without acknowledging the amazing team of professional Sydney wedding photographers at Two Peaches Photography who captured all these great memories for the couple.

If you are curious, the engagement photos were at Paddington Reservoir Gardens and the Sydney Opera House in Sydney. Then on the wedding day, the ceremony was at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Ingleburn, the photoshoot at the Mount Annan Botanic Gardens followed by the reception at the Imperial Paradiso in Fairfield.

TAKE A SNEAK PEEK AT VAN & COLLIN’S WEDDING MAGAZINE
IT’S BRINGING CULTURE, FUN AND ROMANCE ALL AT ONCE!

As with all wedding magazines we design, each has a magazine cover that wraps the front, spine and back of the magazine that includes photos from the couples collection. Within the style kits we provide the couple with a few cover design options to choose from. We love this magazine cover design for the juxtaposition of a romantic photo of the couple on the front and a fun celebratory champagne-pop photo on the back. Along with utilising their Mr & Mrs title on the cover and their names and wedding date on the spine – all bases covered.

The new style kits include a table of contents, section breaks and page numbering throughout the magazine design to help navigate through the story of events and ability to jump to a certain section of the day. The footer contains the page number but also the couples names and wedding date, or for Van & Collin’s magazine because the events were on 3 different days, each event section has the date of that event as a subtle reminder for when those anniversaries fall — don’t worry forgetful people we’ve got you covered so you’ll never forget an anniversary again (haha).

One of the many reasons we recommend hiring a professional wedding photographer, but mainly because your wedding is a one day special event that cannot be repeated. That makes the memories captured on your special day much more precious and priceless!

Don’t risk hiring ‘the friend who loves taking photos‘ for an important occasion like your wedding day just to save a few dollars. You aren’t just paying a professional to click the shutter. There is so much more value in a professional photographer that goes out each and every weekend photographing weddings, than say an amateur or weekend snapper madly shooting every single moment like the paparazzi hit town and having the heavy responsbility of capturing your day. Let your friends enjoy being guests and leave the work to the professionals. We plead with you to not skimp on your wedding photography because you will pay the price in some way or another.

This Sydney couple certainly knew the photography style they were after to capture their special day. They brought in fine art photographers, Foreveryday Photo from overseas to photograph their wedding at one of Sydney’s finest wedding venues, Burnham Grove Estate.

The fine art wedding photography style is known for being light, bright and airy — reminiscent of the tones and characteristics captured in old-school film photography. We absolutely were swooning big time over designing this album — gorgeous photos and a beautiful cursive font to play with!

Our bride is well versed in the wedding industry, she is a calligrapher providing hand-lettered signs, personalised wishing well and easel hire for couples getting married through her business Euni & Ivy. The couple chose the 12×9 landscape wedding album in the black Premium Leather and we matched the same typefaces used in their wedding stationery in the artwork for the album cover, debossing their names, wedding date and their hashtag.

The classic navy blue leather album has the couple’s names and wedding date embossing on the cover in Rose Gold Foil. 

The lay-flat binding of these albums allows for an uninterrupted photo layout over the double page spread and we made full use of that feature on the opening spread, using one of the couples beautiful portraits during their sunset photo shoot which also takes in the landscape of their stunning country wedding venue. 

Our modern designs let your photographs take pride of place to tell your love story as you turn the pages. The finished wedding album was 38 spreads (76 pages), just shy of the 45 spread maximum we can fit in an album. The couple just had so many beautiful wedding photos to work with from every part of the day that it was easy to fill the album. Below is just a taste of some of those page designs.
