We were privileged the couple chose us to ensure their wedding day memories were put down in print in one of our Fine Art Albums.

The couple chose the Linen album cover in colour Barley Grass along with Gold Foil stamping to personalise their names and the wedding location on the album cover.

They went with a contrasting Slipcase in colour Avocado. The natural linen album cover and green slipcase beautifully reference the Italian wedding venue, picking up the sandstone of the building and greenery of the surrounding landscape.

The couple also chose our most popular size the 14″x11″ horizontal album and ended up with 35 spreads (70 pages) to tell the wedding day story in print.

A beautiful keepsake they can enjoy for many years.

We like to design the pages where the images have space to breathe and tell the story of what was happening during that part of the wedding day.

Often professional photographers will only deliver your collection of wedding images in either colour or black & white (not both), so we don’t always have the colour images to work with.

We can convert the colour images to b&w so the full layout would be designed in all black & white, but sometimes you just want to use the colour version of the image. Then you have the issue that the other images that tell the story are only in black & white. And while technology has progressed, we cant yet convert b&w images into colour. Therefore our only option is to mix colour and black & white photos together (as pictured below).

We have come to appreciate mixing colour and b&w images by balancing them when designing the page layout, but what do you think? Tell us in the comments below.

Finishing the album with a drone photo overlooking the Tuscan chateau below just as the sun was setting behind the mountains in the distance. While this photo was not placed in the logical order of the wedding day, the couple requested this image be placed at the end of the album. We have to agree what a nice way to wrap up the wedding album.

This Sydney couple certainly knew the photography style they were after to capture their special day. They brought in fine art photographers, Foreveryday Photo from overseas to photograph their wedding at one of Sydney’s finest wedding venues, Burnham Grove Estate.

The fine art wedding photography style is known for being light, bright and airy — reminiscent of the tones and characteristics captured in old-school film photography. We absolutely were swooning big time over designing this album — gorgeous photos and a beautiful cursive font to play with!

Our bride is well versed in the wedding industry, she is a calligrapher providing hand-lettered signs, personalised wishing well and easel hire for couples getting married through her business Euni & Ivy. The couple chose the 12×9 landscape wedding album in the black Premium Leather and we matched the same typefaces used in their wedding stationery in the artwork for the album cover, debossing their names, wedding date and their hashtag.

And by the looks of it, our educated guess tells us that they had a film photographer capture their special day – Swooning Big Time Over These Film Photos! The characteristics and pastel tones of film stock is stunning and prints up beautifully in our fine art albums.

Sadly we can’t really show you the glorious characteristics of this couple’s photos and the album as we photographed the album with a digital camera and the photos are being viewed on a computer screen which totally misses the purpose of film – film is meant to be printed and thats what we love about film photography, it encourages us to print our photos. Just trust us prints from film are gorgeous. #filmisnotdead

We had the pleasure of creating this 14×11 horizontal wedding album for them as a keepsake of their special day in France.

The album was finished with a Linen cover in the Natural Blend colour with their initials personalising the cover in a Gold Foil deboss. They also chose to include a Linen Slipcase to store their album.
